One of the weaknesses of CCTV installations is the risk of physical access to the video recorder, which can be manipulated or stolen by intruders or unauthorized personnel.
The VR-120 safe is specially designed to protect VCRs whose size does not exceed 1.5/2U rack. It consists of a 2 mm thick steel box with a 4 mm steel door and structure, equipped with ventilation grids distributed throughout the box, with rear openings for the cables and with several holes to secure the safe. It has a very resistant epoxy-polyester paint finish, polymerized at 180ºC.
The door closes with a lock. Optionally, the VR-020 removable tray can be installed inside for easy access and maintenance.
Regarding the legal standard for the protection of video recorders, this safe meets all requirements.
